Prenatal Pilates: Safe Movement for Expecting Mothers

Pregnancy is a time of profound physical transformation. As your body adapts to support new life, you may experience back pain, pelvic instability, and changes in posture. Prenatal Pilates is specifically designed to address these challenges while keeping both mother and baby safe.

Safe Movement During Pregnancy

Prenatal Pilates focuses on strengthening the pelvic floor, maintaining core stability, and improving circulation. All exercises are modified to accommodate the changing body, with particular attention to avoiding positions that are contraindicated during pregnancy.

Preparing for Birth and Recovery

A strong pelvic floor and deep core contribute to more efficient labor and faster postpartum recovery. The breathing techniques learned in Pilates are also incredibly valuable during labor, helping with pain management and relaxation between contractions.

Our prenatal program is designed in consultation with obstetricians and midwives to ensure the highest standards of safety. Each class is limited to six participants, allowing instructors to provide personalized attention and modifications.
